I guess at the end of the day, such things really make us feel that all the time we have spent on them is worth it. Changes being made, for the better, I feel proud to know that I’m part of it too. (: Isn’t this what we want to see in them after all the trainings? Power, status, and all other politics, kick them away and we will find ourselves in such a beautiful world, making differences in people’s lives and seeing them change for the better.

P/s. To both my respected sir & maam, thanks for roping me in and giving me the chance to be able to make a difference. And of course, thanks to you, sir for guiding me and being the one to pull me in, allowing others to rope me in for events.

Yayys, my weekends were a total blast! (:

SATURDAY!

Though this was not the post I initially expected to get in CAC, it’s this post that allowed me to learn a lot from the senior and junior instructors. And it made me felt that we are all one family. It’s been long since I last get to feel this way and this feeling is definitely great! (: and like what pohboon sir mentioned, it’s really a sense of achievement that we will all feel when the event has ended.

Caught up with quite a number of instructors & cadets during the event too! seeing familiar faces around just feel great! and something to my dismay, qijun sir’s jokes are really super funny. HAHAHA. And and, the marshals can go form a rcy boyband! THE CLICK EIGHT! HAHAHAHA.

SUNDAY!
Went on an outing again! (:
Yayyyys, my weekends are totally well spent!

Slacked at marina square, then headed over to suntec to purchase tickets to watch the red cliff, chilled at millennia walk’s starbucks, dinner at Kenny rogers, movies at suntec and lastly, off to spore flyer! (: all my fav hangout places! :D

been a year since i last stepped into that theatres.

somehow, i just miss that theatres. :/

anyways, redcliff is a MARVELLOUS MOVIE! (:

Red cliff is really the best Asian movie!!

Really enjoyed the movie to bits! It’s like reiterating the stuff I learnt when I was studying p5 higher Chinese. Haha but of course, with hunks like takeshi acting in it, it made the whole movie even more motivating to carry on watching. HAHAHA. Takeshi is pretty humorous too, with unexpected jokes in certain parts of the movie. Totally enjoyed the show & of course, the company! (: Anyways, I cant wait for part 2 of red cliff to be out in the theatres!

It’s a MUST-WATCH!

And we were the last to catch the last ride for spore flyer!

Luckily we could catch the last ride on time, else I will be so disappointed.

Went shopping with hui! It has been such a long time ever since I went shopping but till now, that doesn’t explain why (to myself) I spent 110bucks. :/ bought a top, belt, skirt, a pair of socks, some hair accessories and some craft materials! It all summed up to 110bucks! I’m superrr broke. but I know the things I bought will really be put to good use. –self consoles-

Went for dimsum buffet with the girls! (: the laughters that we share really made my day a better one!
I’m DEFINITELY not going to touch prawns and shrimps for the next one week! HAHAHA

Went to hq to settle some accred stuff for sat and to pass betty her headgear.

But too bad, I couldn’t see her there!

and couldnt get to see the rest of the westies! but we shall meet soon yea!

THURSDAY
Anyways, the super clumsy me sprained my back while bending down to retrieve my keys. My back seriously hurts! :/ I had survived with this painful back for this long day! ):

And as usuals, the forgetful me left my umbrella at home when i left my house in a rush today. and so, i got all drenched in the heavy rain. and the aircon in bus 157 today is freezing cold. :/

Ohwell, I wasn’t lazy, I was really tired every single day and recently,

I have been feeling quite unwell.

It’s a camp that we’ve all been waiting for. The 4days had been enriching, be it to the cadets or the instructors. I’m sure everyone did pick up some skills along the way for it was the 1st project ncos 06 and the 2nd project ncos 07 that allowed me to learn so much from it and progress to where I am now. I am not good, but at least I’m equipped with some skills, so yupps, thank you sir for everything. (:

The cadets have definitely improved tremendously from the day1 really-bad attitude to the day4 positive & totally fabulous attitude. See the difference that have been influenced their mindset to change? It’s the hard work of the instructors and also their determination to change for the better.

Day2 night of the camp, an accident happened. But it’s not anyone’s fault. nobody wanted such things to happen too so let’s not put any blame on anyone. What matters most is I’m fine, isn’t it? (: thank you all my fellow instructors, friends, seniors, cadets and teachers’ for your concern. Don’t worry, esther is still the lively one, always jumping around. (:

This camp has bonded a lot of us, from fellow Vis to good friends outside redcross. Special thanks to the loyalty ones: qx sir, the one who started proj ncos 2years back, alvin, lixuan, hongyi & loretta. (: thanks to jason too for assisting me in so much so much admin things.

And I wholeheartedly agree with lixuan’s statement:

“Although we may not be the finest salt you can find in the bag,

we offered our finest in building the greatest."

(sorry lixuanns I borrowed your line cos it’s really too meaningful =x)

To all the cadets and instructors, thanks for spending your 4days with us in this camp. Hope that it has been fruitful for you. (:

Went for dental appointment and they changed the wire and tightened it.

I changed my brackets to pink.

Got no idea why I chose that but yupps, it’s changed to pink.

Anyway, my teeth hurts. =/

Caught the OG sales with sharon & we got ourselves real good deals.

Bought myself a brown jane shilton wallet for 60bucks when the initial price is 80bucks.

Had a good catching up session with her as usual. (:

Finally went back to work & my nice manager treated us to breakfast. (:
Met up with my dear ones: Jerome & sharon! yayys.

Dinner at xin wang hongkong café at cine, the place that the last time I went, they forgot all about my order and made me nearly late for movies and caused my stomach to growl throughout the whole of the movie, enchanted.

Drinks after that at balcony. The ambience there is so fabulous.

What’s most important is the company I had with my two good friends.

Went to the doctor’s before going to nus open house with Eileen & sharon. the courses talk was really quite useful as it made me realized the courses that I wanna take. But it’s kind of a headache now that the uni vacancies are only so limited and there’s so many people who wanna get into uni. One worry down, and another popped out from nowhere. =/

Went to mos burger at tiong bahru for dinner with sharon being heading to bishan to meet up with my family. Catching up sessions with sharon is always that fabulous and great. and that plan that is thought of by the smart aries ladies will work out hopefully. HAHA! Thanks for the idea, anyway. (:

Happy birthday short one! though you aren’t around now, I still hope my wishes will be sent to you through telepathy! (:

Had my 3hour tuition with my kid, followed by a trip down to Queensway

shopping centre to get my cousin the goggle he wanted.
